- Video consults are available to anyone currently in South Africa.

- You can choose between a 15-minute or a 40-minute consultation.

- We recommend the longer consultation for first-time clients, clients with more than 1 problem needing to be addressed, or clients with mental health concerns.

- Please note this consultation is only for one client. If you'd like to book for more than one person, please make a booking for each individual that you would like to be consulted.

- NOTE: BOOKINGS ARE ONLY CONFIRMED (AND ONLY APPEAR IN OUR DIARY) AFTER COMPLETION OF THE PAYMENT STEP OF THE BOOKING PROCESS.

- Home visits are available exclusively within the Plettenberg Bay area.

- Please refer to our Price List and Payment Policy on our website. The booking system will request a deposit, which covers the cost of the consult and our minimum travel fee.

- NOTE: BOOKINGS ARE ONLY CONFIRMED (AND ONLY APPEAR IN OUR DIARY) AFTER COMPLETION OF THE PAYMENT STEP OF THE BOOKING PROCESS.

- Any additional travel, after-hour fees, procedures, consumables or medicines will be billed over and above this deposit amount, and will need to be settled on-site on completion of the consult.

- Please note we do not submit to medical aid or third-party funders, but will provide you with a paid invoice with which you can self-claim from your medical aid or your third-party funder.

- ON-SITE PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE VIA CARD OR CASH.

- Please note this consultation is only for one client. If you'd like to book for more than one person, please make a booking for each individual that you would like to be consulted.

- Please note this service is solely available for patients coming to the emergency room at Mediclinic Plettenberg Bay for the after-hours shifts that Dr Matt Lavis is on-call there.

- Please note this service is set to "no charge" to allow for quicker onboarding of personal and medical data, however, the standardised rates (as agreed upon by the doctors working in ER, and independent of medical scheme rates) are applicable, and will be required to be paid either online, in cash or via card machine, upon completion of services, irrespective of admission into the hospital or not. Rates can be inquired by phoning the emergency room at 0445015100.

- Despite the location, this service is fulfilled as a function of Minimax Medical, and our policies are all applicable.
